Douglas Ebenstein

Douglas Ebenstein is the president and CEO of Capital Commercial Properties, a family owned and operated commercial real estate company operating predominantly in the Washington DC-Northern Virginia- Maryland area.  He is also the president and CEO of Eden Center, Inc., one of the largest Vietnamese shopping centers in the United States. He is also a philanthropist, loving husband, and proud father.

He leads the development and retail leasing efforts along the east coast. He focuses mainly in the area of Washington DC. This includes the suburbs of Virginia and Maryland. 

Capital Commercial Properties played a crucial role in developing a massive site in Alexandria. The site features a number of well-known national commercial tenants, as well as over 400 residential units that are not that far from the capital of the nation. Douglas Ebenstein is the CEO and President of Eden Center, which owns an Asian shopping market within the east coast. 

Eden Center has become a major cultural destination. Over 100 tenants reside in it, and this includes dozens of Vietnamese restaurants. Eden Center was also honored with an award back in 1997. That award was the “most improved commercial property” in the area of Falls Church. 

More About Douglas Ebenstein

Douglas Ebenstein earned his bachelor of arts degree in economics after graduating from Brown University. Throughout his time at Brown University, he competed in tennis. In fact, he was ranked number one in doubles and singles competitions. This was during his last two years at school. 

After Douglas graduated from Brown, he attended Duke University. While there, he studied law. He eventually completed his Juris Doctor. 

Prior to going to law school, Douglas played professional tennis in the ATP. His ranking was 300. Even to this day he still has a strong presence in the community, as he is a strong supporter of athletic programs. He also supports his alma mater’s tennis team and hosts an annual trip to Boca Raton. 

Douglas Ebenstein is a longtime member of B’nai Israel, which is a congregation in Boca Raton. He also contributes to the Morgan Pressel Foundation. To this day, he is still a fan of tennis and plays in a senior division, where he has achieved rankings as high as three in singles competition. In doubles, he has achieved a ranking as high as five.
